Guys, honestly … this is the thread dislocated for the J-35A = PLAAF version!

As such, please stop this - IMO anyway useless - discussion in this thread and even in the J-35 = PLAN variant it makes no sense, since such a “what-if“ VSTOL-J-35-variant won’t happen anyway.

Well, Zhuhai is a marketplace. So they would show the merchandise version first before the other variant that is not for sale.

Well, I think it's logical. Because no body beside a very few countries have aircraft carrier, so who will buy the Carrier Version J-35 anyway. Russian?

Uh, as far as I know the J-35A is not for sale.

The export version will have quite a number of differences.

Just one thing: I thought the original FC-31 used RD-93s instead of RD-33s?

The finishing and engineering on F-35 is so clean that if the event wasnt open to the public, we'd have people say its a fake CGI vaporware! Also, dont think they'll fly J-35 with proper RAM coating in a public show. Bad for intel apart from waste of money.
