Hey ..don't they have an internet connection on that base? Most bases have a recreation hall or library where you can use a computer. So find the computers when you get there and keep posting!

yeah there is internet connection on base...but you know army courses, at least for the first couple of weeks its gonna be a lot of "cock" (that's our term for getting tortured,dont know what you gyus use in the states) before you get limited amount of freedom. well at least mine is not a recruit course so hopefully they'll go somewhat easier on me and let the course go home once in a while. so yeah i'll be back here and there. hopefully bring back some funny stories from the course with me (of course the funnier the story the more painful it is)

Course in what by the way? A course lasting more than a week, would not be a "bullshit" course. All courses I know about here in Norway (medic, Fibua, sniping, coms, weapons instructor) ususally lasts a week or two and then you have continuation training in your unit.
