Lol what kind of Chinese did this guy meet?
Even though there is a government quarrel, I've never seen people from China deliberately act worse towards white people.
If you just act normal and do a good job, people will thank you and if you do a shit job then most Chinese are not overly rude about it either, they will just not come back.
I mean sure if you're involved in something that has to do with national security then maybe the police will sus you out more easily if you're an immigrant? That is no different from how American police disproportionately attack people of color especially when it concerns national security.
I still really doubt that they will openly be racist. More like, they will turn down your job application and shut you out before you can even join.

Not sure where to put this, since in the Ukraine-war thread some surely would rate it a political insult, but either Dmitry Medvedev had indeed a few glasses too much before he went to bed and published this list of his predictions for 2023. 
He is probably mocking some predictions done by western analyst, plus the maps the Ukranians were bragging about of the partition of Russian, where Siberia would be given to China, Kurils to Japan, San Petersburg to Finland, and so on
With this comment Medvedev ironizes all Western predictions about Russia.
