Interesting. I thought it could have been a refuelling aircraft, but still found it odd. Apparently these civilian aircraft can be converted to ASW as well.

Shouldn't they be using turboprop? They would last longer at sea that way.

EDIT: Oh yes I remember reading that civilian airliners can be converted to ASW besides refuelling and AWACs.
