Business in general has been against the US Government politics.
Even their domestic policy is being questioned. Florida's "China investment" laws are very strict and discourage investment. If a Chinese EV maker wanted to open a factory in the US, it would actually be impossible to do so in Florida due to the laws.

Even Texas killed a similar bill in the end.

Xi Jinping has been accused in the media of creating a hostile business climate towards private companies, but the reality is that the US has done the same or even worse.
