They want to gain RESPECT but to do that they have to earn it rather than sucking others ego. Just look at Wang Yi speech regarding the conflict, even the Israelis grudgingly acknowledge it. Just follow your principle through and through with out the care of others peoples opinion. That shows character which the Indian need to learn and adapt instead of finding the easy way out.
