Hey Guys I'm curious about the Chinese Military salutes like Presenting Arms. I've noticed there has been different ways the PLA Present Arms with the Type-97. I'm familiar with the 2 handed holding of the 95 across the chest. But I saw a clip on one of the links in the videos thread of PLA troops Presenting Arms in a sort of similar style of the Presenting Arms like the way you might see with the SKS and Type-81.
Is it also a tradition of the PLA Airborne Units when goose stepping not to march with bayonets forward? The Airborne troops at the 60th Anniversary parade were equipped with Type-03's but did not march with them the same way as you would see with the 81 but in the manner one marches with the 95. I saw a clip of the parade in the 80's and the Airborne troops did the same with the Type-56.
Any info would be appreciated.
