Favorite Thread

I thought this would be an interesting question on this forum....which thread is your favorite?
For me, it is definitely the J-20 thread. We all love that Chinese stealth fighter don't we? Or maybe cause it's new and it's sexy, and so much unknowns, so we wanna know more...and if it really can live up to its designated title and role. And in the process of finding out more, I learned so much new stuff there from fellow members.

Anyways, let's get this thread started

I agree, the J-20 (previously known as "New Generation Fighter") thread was always the most exciting thread for me too.
But I'm also fond of the China daily life in pictures/news etc thread and other picture threads espicially of the US military. More unorthodox, bordering on political threads are also interesting, where people can express their views more candidly on matters, though they usually get shut because people are TOO candid :p

I obviously like the more political threads as well. The problem, though, is not that people are too candid, but that they waste the opportunity by venting their emotions instead of having discussion. In my opinion, we have to find a way of making people realize that nobody's feelings or perspective are going to change through discussion. But I, for one, can learn from reading the opinion of people who feel quite differently from myself, if this opinion contains analysis, and is more than mere stating of positions and feelings. I disagree with most books I read, for example, but I almost always plow through them anyway. Even when I think the author of a book is stupid, I end up learning something from it in the end.

I find it difficult to answer this question. I found this forum looking for more information on Varyag. But time and again I find other thread I find interesting. I'm think about the answer.
