Famous Chinese Generals and Admirals

What game is this? This period goes from the middle of the Ming Dynasty to the middle of the Qing Dynasty. Don't really know many names of specific generals.

Zheng He would be the most famous from this period probably. Wu Sangui, Geng Jingzhong, and Shang Zhixin are the "Three Feudatories" who revolted under Kangxi's reign during the Qing Dynasty. They were formerly Ming commanders who defected to the Qing after the Ming Dynasty collapsed due to rebellion. Zheng Zhilong and his son Zheng Chenggong (Koxinga) are other famous Ming loyalists during this period. The Zheng family stronghold on Taiwan was defeated by the Qing naval commander Shi Lang.

Oh that game seems good, but does China even do anything in it?

Here's another one I found: Yuan Chonghuan (1584-1630), Ming general in charge of defending the north from Nurhaci's encroaching Manchu kingdom. Was succeful in holding onto part of Liaoning when other's advocated withdrawal behind the gates of Shanhaiguan. As is too often the case with good Chinese commanders in the fading years of dynasties, he was arrested due to political intrigue at the imperial court and executed by torture.

the goal is to make sureself strong enough so that when the game is exported to a later era (the game Victoria - An Empire Under the Sun) you can dominate ALL Asian politics.

In Eu2 where I am currently the goal is to get strong enough to hold back the west, I plan to Dominate all of South East Asia, annex Manchu and vassalize India.
