The 'Emerald Archer' hits its target with a bulls eye in this month's latest 'Dawn of DC' debut for the Green Arrow!
Written by Joshua Williamson and drawn by Sean Izaakse, Oliver Queen (the Green Arrow) is lost and needs to find his way back home. The 'Arrow Family' consisting of Roy Harper, Black Canary and Conor Hawke are desperately searching for Oliver and find themselves fishing for clues in some of the most dangerous cities the DC Universe has to offer.
Guys...I'll be blunt, Green Arrow #1 wastes no time in boring exposition and gets everyone rolling up their sleeves to kick some serious bad-guy ass from the jump. But despite all the action, the central theme is crystal clear: Family. Much like 'Dom' in the Fast and Furious, the Green Arrow realizes he can't do it all alone and needs to lean on his Arrow Family, and lean hard.
Green Arrow #1 is available now on retail-store shelves and also 'digitally' (yuck...) at DC.com.
I picked up a copy for myself yesterday - and highly recommend it .
