Chinese WW2 Poison Gas Weapons ?

I've read plenty of accounts of Japanese force using poison gas in China and parts of Asia. Did Chinese forces ever have poison gas weapons and did they ever use it in battle?

Nope, the only successful biological and chemical attack on Japanese position was by the Japanese themselves, they had an accidental outbreak from one of the Unit 731 lab, killed few hundred of their own troops.

Ok The only reason I asked was I recalled reading a page from the book The Genius of China and it mentioned that as far back as 400bc the Chinese were experimenting and using poison gas for fumication and limited battlefield usage.
