A hydrogen powered UAV co-developed by AVIC Chengdu and Tsinghua University recently flew continuously for 30 hours, breaking a domestic endurance record for this class of drones.

Hydrogen fuel cell powering an electric propeller? What sort of advantage does that fuel has over chemically converting the hydrogen into something far easier to handle such as ammonia or methane?
