it could turn out to be another hoax,if the aircraft was indeed made her first flight yesterday,by now the picture should appear over the net.but to date zero!-

To be fair it took a year after J-15's first flight for pictures to get out.

well Xmas (to be precise, Xmas eve) is celebrated in China, but not in the ways you would expect. It basically a valentine's day for committed couples, with shopping and so forth.

As far as I know, no-one spoke of a maiden fligt, but simply taxi-tests !

We do but not religiously unless you're a Chinese Christian off course. It's more of a holiday for exchanging presents and gifts with friends and families. This concept even goes to overseas Chinese.

Guys, i doubt pictures will appear anytime soon. At least not for a month or so. The facility at XAC is probably known for its tight security, which explains why we haven't seen the JH-7B either even though it flew three months ago. Remember, it took three months for pictures of the J-10B to appear after its first flight.
