Interesting to see the flexion on the wing tips as a result of "air loads", such flexion in the outboard wing structure takes lots of the bumps out of the ride in turbulence, like a set of good shock absorbers... also takes some of the "load" off the center wing box, which still has to be "hell for stout"...
