China's Air Force Intensifies Training

Chinese air force has intensified trainings in an effort to enhance its combat strength, the People's Liberation Army Daily reported Tuesday.

The report said that the air force has largely improved its counter electromagnetic interference ability in preparation for a high-tech war.

The training, which was kicked off last year, signals a shift of the air force's focus from mere "safety first" to improve striking ability, the paper said.

All the combat regiments of the air force were ordered to strengthen anti-electromagnetic interference ability by carrying out regular training in complex meteorological and electromagnetic environments, according to the paper.

"That will enable them to get closer to the actual combat situation," it said, adding that the number of participating pilots has reached record highs.

The paper said that mock air-to-ground or air-to-air battles have been launched in the training, aiming to improve the air force's striking capability.

take that USAF!!! This information coincides very micely with a report about PLAAF training a read on people's daily. there appears to be similar trend going on in the army and navy starting this year too.

Only by do more training life this, Can PLA, PLAAF, and PLAN find what they are lagging at.

Once I saw a video a PLA paratrooper hids behind a tree for a AMBUSH! that show how much training they need. A TREE! IN DAY TIME! YOU ARE NOT NIJIA

Any idea, why the PLAAF still has no requirement for a modern turboprop trainer in the class of the PC-9, PC-21, T-6 or Super Tucano ???? :confused:

With the K-8 (JL-8) in the middle, the L-15 or JL-9 on the high end it will definitly need a modern lower end trainer !

Just my opinion ...

A tree is a infanty best friend at time, they don't need to ba a ninjia , they need to be properly camouflaged, that it. With the right camouflaged equipment, it almost impossible to spot a infanty hiden in a bush, tree, tall grass etc..... Then he can blow your head off before u ever see him.

Don't underestimate the power of a tree.. haha

Always welcome news, it's excellent to see that the Chinese military isn't going to stop or slow down modernization because of pressure from bullies like the US.

And once again this will most certainly be overblown by Fox, i can see headlines now: EVIL CHINESE COMMIES PREPARING TO TAKE OVER WORLD.
