I watched a TV show called china Atlas on HDTV. It is a 2 hour show on the rise of china. one interesting segment was at a buddhist Kung fu academy. there are dozens of the huge academies with tens of thousands of students who spend the first 18 years of their lives in a very strict and structured life. Many of the students hope to get accepted into the PLA or PAP.
It would appear this sort of life training will produce great moral and intelligent warriors for the PRC. Very impressed and it scares me a little....cheers ute.
