It’s not some much TVC as movable flaps at the mouth of the exhaust. Might serve a similar purpose?
It has been only 20 days since Dec 26.
Theory #1: They have further enhanced the stealth so much that you can't even see or hear it anymore
Theory #2: Entire program unfortunately canceled and completely scrapped
Theory #3: Wait some more and we will see it flying again, probably in a more refined form
Tests flights probably occur as often as they should for the aircraft at this stage of development.
Doesnt happen over public areas tho.
They will release more photos when they want more photos to be released, it has nothing to do how often the plane is taking flights.
People underestimate the amount of testing that goes into a single test flight. Hardcore test flights also don’t take place in Chengdu but rather Yanliang, which is far more remote.
so true, but then again, people have not been around since 2011 after the first J-20 flight.
Although, I do wonder if with modern computer modeling and such, they can reduce some of the flight tests.
All he is saying is that the nozzle details are accurate. He didn’t comment on anything else.
