So basically I got this project for current event and I have to choose between
Chief of the Defense Force Allen Grant Houston (Australian Cabinet) or Foreign Secretary Margaret Beckett (United Kingdom Cabinet) and debate and talk

For Australian Cabinet I will have to talk about:
1. China's Increasing Sphere of Influence
2. Maritime Security
For United Kingdom Cabinet I will have to talk about:
1. China's Increasing Sphere of Influence
2. European Military Cooperation

Which one do you guys think will be easier to talk about?

Well first off you'd have to figure off which one is either easier or more fascinating to you. If you're more familiar with European politics then I'd go with the UK, if better with the events of Southeast Asia and the numerous smaller nations involved, then you should do the Australian option.

Just my two cents.

Well I dont know about the Australian, but Beckett is both a has been and a lightweight.

Her main focus on China would be Human Rights and Democracy and she would oppose the lifting of the EU Arms Ban and talk about TS quite a lot.

You see Swimmer the role of Foreign Secretary, usually one of the most important Offices of State in the UK, has during the last 10 years, just been filled by high profile nobodys for a matter of good form, as Britains real Foreign policy is conducted by Tony and his good friend Lord Levy (In such time as they have when not being Interviewed by the Police for selling Peerages in return to irredemable Loans to the Labour Party).

I would have to disagree in part - Levy doesn't "conduct" foreign policy. It's more that he agrees with Blair on most points and is (or maybe "was") a close enough friend to help him out. But because Blair ran the Labour Party so much and Gordon refused to challenge him, it was/is true that Tony was able to shape foreign policy pretty much by himself.
