El Ejército Argentino evalúa el helicóptero ligero Z-11
El 10 de julio de 2007 se realizó en instalaciones del Comando de aviación de Ejército (CAE) en Campo de Mayo, una exhibición de un helicóptero Z-11 de manufactura china.

El helicóptero ha estado siendo evaluado desde hace algún tiempo por el Ejército Argentino (EA), habiéndose realizando pruebas en diversas áreas geográficas del país. En la exhibición, pudo verse pintado con esquema de pintura del CAE y con grúa de rescate.

El Z-11 es un helicóptero ligero, en la categoría de las dos toneladas, derivado del modelo francés Eurocopter AS-350B2 Eucureuil. En su versión armada puede llevar ametralladoras, cohetes y misiles antitanque, así como una cámara diurna y un FLIR.

El EA evalúa montarlo en instalaciones propias en un número que no debería ser menor a las 40 unidades. Se proyecta su empleo en misiones SAR, de exploración y de ataque. También se pretendería en un paso posterior integrar a la industria nacional en la fabricación de componentes para el mismo.
