I think it is extremely silly for anyone to name any military vessel or aircraft after their country or national capital. The idea of that ship sinking or crashing is just too much bad PR.Each of US are entitled to their own opinion.
Each of US are entitled to their own opinion. Did you know that the USN has an LHA named USS America (LHA 6)?

USS America was named in honor of the United States of America and is the fourth USN ship to bear the name.

f-35 looks so rusty!

Really? Perhaps you did not know... The F-35C's skin is primarily made of carbon-epoxy composites, with some areas using carbon-bismaleimide for higher-temperature zones.

It's not rusty. Just dirty or perhaps some sort of preservative on the aircraft. If it was
rusty it would not be allowed to fly. The US Naval aviation has a very comprehensive corrosion control program. Each squadron has a Corrosion Control workcenter that keeps the aircraft as Corrosion free as possible. It is very intense.
