22-degree Circular Sun Halo in Emmett, ID 5/22/2019

Today, due to high level cirrus clouds in the atmosphere and their ice crystals, which in this case were hexagonal shaped, as the sunlight passed through these clouds and their ice crystals, we experienced what is known as a 22 degree sun halo in Emmett, Idaho. This is on Saturday, May 19, 2018, at about 1 PM.
