I agree with Blitzo, probably best to not jumpt to conclusions and just wait for better pictures to come out. When we don't know something, just note it as something to watch out for until the question mark can be dispelled.

Provided that the news is accurate:
At this rate of development (and referencing historical records) - Having the J-36 entering IOTE service with the PLAAF in 2028 is becoming a very real possibility.

And the poor "first" 36011 is standing slightly outside behind!
Perhaps that poor guy will face the same fate as that particular J-10 on static display at Zhuhai Expo 2024... (if you know what I mean)
