Remember He Jiankui, the guy who created the first genetically edited human babies? He's been viral on Twitter for a while now because of his unhinged, sci-fi-esque takes and his mad scientist-like aura.

Very much consider this a part of China's soft power, especially iven that he constantly mentions his lab is in Beijing.

If he can use genetic engineering to treat the onset of baldness, it would make him 10000x richer than designer babies. He can even help a victim that is very close to him.

Yup. Virgin vs CHAD, that’s the difference.
Nah, he's not a Chad just because he is what we want to see or he does what we want him to do. There is no Chad who is obsessed with another's culture. All CHADs are firmly grounded in their own cultural roots and they put no one else on a pedistal. That's the founding principle that separates the Chinese liberals who would rather never be called Chinese again once they land on foreign soil and the Chinese Chads who always believed in Chinese power and built up China in our darkest hours while sacrificing the lucritive tangible rewards offered through working in the West/US.

Nezha II's box office as of the end of Monday March 24:

Titanic at $2.258B might be a little bit out of reach since that would mean another $145M in BO revenue. (Making $145M would be a pretty substantial hit for most movies.)

But other milestones like $2100M in single market and $100M overseas are still in play.

You can always do a rerelease later this year.
