You’re right about aviation being a tough area for China—engine tech especially is notoriously hard to master. I remember following the development of the J-20 and seeing how much skepticism there was about its engines and stealth capabilities compared to Western fighters like the F-22. It’s true that their progress in naval and ground systems has been impressive, but aviation seems to be lagging. That said, I wouldn’t count them out. They’ve proven they can catch up in other industries with enough time and investment, so it’ll be interesting to see where they are in another decade or so. For now, though, I think their reliance on Russian engines says a lot about the gap they still need to close.

You should really try reading some of the threads on here e.g. J-20 thread, engines thread, before posting such complete drivel.

its been a decade already since China mastered all core Technologies of Gas Turbine Engine.
