Usually military does not indulge in PR stunts providing training information.
if you want to call it an open doors policy that's fine but in my humble belief civilians don't need a hero based on who is top dog in training.
Training schedules are not open source but I believe fighter pilots takes 5 hour shift on stand-by for scramble and this is kept on 24/7 readiness. I recall there are three pilots which makes a squadron and 3 squadrons stationed at various bases are on scramble stand-by.
Beside that I believe there was a requirement of at least 90 hours minimum per year flying to maintain their pilot status.
Fighter pilots are in air around 200 hours a year at average.
Japan also has a aggressor training squadron.
There are some urban legends about simulated dog fights between the USN top gun aggressors against the JASDF aggressor squadron in which all USN pilots filed a request for re-training after they fought with JASDF pilots with dismal results all hearing kill calls from them.
