Replika is back?
I remember downloading the app during the beta test period many many years ago and thought very little of it. It was good at making conversation but any kind of conversation that requires some introspection is impossible.
I mean, the app is literally pandering to people like the one in the article.

I thought so as well, which makes me wonder why they're committing business suicide by banning adult content.

This really isn't much different from those stories of people who marry their sex dolls or an anime character. Some people just can't distinguish between fantasy and reality.

Fun fact, Xi's wife sang the lesser known closing theme to the 1998 Water Margin series.


If I recall correctly this theme replaced the immensely popular 好汉歌 shortly after Song Jiang decided to capitulate to the Imperial Officials and Liangshan pretty much went downhill after that. Make of that what you will.
