Adani isn't going down. Modi is his puppet and Modi has gifted him monopolies in dozens of India's strategic sectors. That's all free money which will of course need time to actually translate to cash flow, that's why Adani is building so much debt because he is expanding as much as possible without caring about revenues and profits (he will squeeze these later..)

Until that cash cow starts bringing revenues + profits to him, the Indian government will keep giving him money by all means necessary. The guys who did the investigation might be out of luck this time as they are not fighting just against Adani but against the whole Indian government and Modi's political party (and his future). They will definitely make some money by short selling but not as much as they hoped

Scholtz really is getting taken hostage by DC through CIA stooges populating the coalition's Green Party.

Outstanding, the FM makes such statement before the Chancellor and President, that says who is running the show.

As far as I know, in German institution declaring war is the power of the President at the (direction/recommendation) consultation of the Chancellor, FM is merely a clerk. Even if we count her wording "war" as less formal but figurative, it is politically inappropriate for her rank. Usually this would lead to her to retract her words or resignation, but that won't happen as it is clear that Scholz has been hijacked.

This gives me the feeling of Wiemar era when the institution did not run according to the design, that is the President/Reichswehr and Chancellor were working against one another. See the TV show "Babylon Berlin".

Imagine thinking that a country which is occupied by thousands of US troops is really independent lol. Same with Japan, same with S.Korea

All this "send or not send tanks" talk, Germany had a meeting with the US, and would you imagine? Germany was slapped so hard, the very next day/hours it decided to send tanks to Ukraine lmao

For future reference, and to avoid any needless questions, anger, or any other strong emotions arising from a surprise decision by those countries. Germany, S.Korea and Japan are all US occupied/vassal states with different degree of autonomy given to them by the US. Their autonomy is a privilege that can be withdrawn by their Lord at any time if they go against their marching orders

Somehow, I don't get the feeling that this woman is going to enjoy the fruits of her labor for very long. Since the west losing in Ukraine is a forgone conclusion (given how Russia has made it clear that they will use whatever option there is available in defending there homeland, plus they will do a general mobilization should these tanks make it to Ukraine), she is bound to be used a fall guy sooner or later and I don't think the germans are going to remember her all that fondly once all things said and done

Everyone here understands that, it's still disgusting to see it in practice.

Lol, this uhh won’t be good for the Indian state banking sector, especially with Modi funneling all kind of money in their direction.

To be fair, Hindenburg Research is a short seller. But considering that 79% of capitalization gains in India's stock market went to Adani last year, the potential for a financial disaster for India is enormous.

ITIF now admits that China is overtaking the U.S. in innovation. But not long ago, some Americans were full of complacency and hubris.
