The Trump tariff cheerleaders in the Biden Administration won. Inflation still bad in the US. Yellen jumping off a burning and sinking ship. If she doesn't, she'll get blamed for the bad economy.
Oh well, that old piece of trash only has so long to live, so either she live longer to see the very nation she serves go down in flames, or she lives shorter and get the burn in hell quicker. Either, there aren't no sun shine and rainbows for her

I know Yellen is sort of a more reasonable person among that crowd, but still she has to shoulder some of the blame for inflation. She should have been running that alarm about inflation long ago instead of mouthing that "transitory inflation" meme. Either she's incompetent and didn't see it coming or she was deliberately misleading everyone, either case she needs to go.

China vs. US is all about the economy. That’s the real fight. STEM and tech are all parts of that. China should focus on its economy, improve productivity, continue to move up the value chain, not get sucked into a Taiwan war, and not make the same mistakes the Soviets made in terms of arms race etc. etc….
Arms race is inevitable when going against the US, it's an insurance policy that China must buy to enable and protect its development and rise.
