The person being interviewed in Kharkiv is clearly an Ultra and that itself is mindboggling to read on the BBC
No matter this is what the item said

Andrew Licholit, from Kharkiv, has joined the city's militia and says he is "helping the regular army and the police to defend and observe the borders of the city".

He says he joined up last week following the invasion, having previously served between 2015 and 2018 in the Donbas conflict.

"The situation right now is controllable, we’re controlling it," he says. "But the Russians are committing literal military crimes.

"They’re committing air assaults on parts of our city which don’t have any military targets there."
He says the Russians are using people in the city to place marks on targets for strikes and says one of the militia's roles is to track these people down and capture them if possible.
"Right now, I know that we are fighting a big, powerful army. But this is our home and we don't have anywhere to go. We don't have anywhere to run. And actually we don’t want to," he says.

Strong evidence that the Pro Russian militia are still active and busy giving providing targeting information to the Russian Army to help speed up the liberation of the city.

Don't think it is a negotiation for peace. More like, a negotiation for human corridors so the civilians can leave and evacuate. I don't think even Russia has the stomach for what to come next and let alone the world outcry.
Yep.

And as expected, the negotiations didn’t go that well. They are mostly for show at this point for both sides.

Rumours floating around on Russian side of social media that Chechen units are engaged with Azov Battalion in Mariupol and they managed to capture a few prisoners from them and did the thing they're infamous for with photos to prove it.
Is there a source for this? Or is this still a rumor?

It seems that evacuating Chinese nationals in Ukraine will be easier from now on.

This is wartime paranoia. There is no need to get civilians to mark buildngs you want to strike.

Law and order has collapsed and the nutjobs are in control.

On an unrelated note, I do wonder whether how accepting Europeans will be of the thousands of Ukrainian refugees entering Europe. It's all smiles and happiness now, but Europeans can be racist against each other. We all know Germany's historical views on slavs, and England does have a lot of racism against Eastern Europeans.

Syria had a similar GDP per capita to Ukraine before the war broke out there and was quite a decent place to live by regional standards. A few thousand may be integrated okay, but if we get hundreds of thousands we may see them getting the Syrian refugee treatment.
