Under current situation, I actually will prefer China to just close eyes if this Canadian guy is simply trying to procure for complete export to the former Aborigines Land. First it's for export, generating revenue. Then it's not China's concern to deal with such export to Oz, let that country handle its own issue.... let Oz take care the Canadian guy, why should China be the bad buy in this case??? China simply closes its eyes, look at other direction, just not be so diligent... provided there's nothing else untold.
In death, this white Canadian will serve a function: to give notice to all white anglos that their lives mean shit when it comes to breaking Chinese law.
They WILL be drawn and quartered if they fuck around in China.

There’s certainly talk and desire for closer Anglo Indian cooperation the way pigs yearn to fly but reality presents a different story:
Who in cow worshipping India is going to eat Australian beef and cows?
Who in sizeable Muslim demographic India is going to drink Australian wine?
Who in white supremacist Australia is going to put up with Indians moving en masse to continue occupying middle management positions and giving jobs to their cousins’ cousins’ cousins?
Not to mention India and Australia already export iron ore to China.

tony Abbott and the white Anglo ruling class he represents is anxious over China shutting Australia out of Asian trade which will spell doom for Australian living standards; we’re already in an extended lockdown in over half the country due tk covid with the budget in deficit
And you overlooked one very important factor too: the REAL PURCHASING POWER.

Recall a few facts. India, among the South Asian countries, is at the bottom of the Global Hunger Index, 2020. India even lags behind literally starving countries such as Congo, Ethiopia and Angola.

One in five Indians still earns under US$37.50 a month –- and 88.87 percent of the population or, in other words, nine out of ten, still make less than US$ 165 a month in India.

Economic activity in India is limited to a tiny population. Out of a population of 1.36 billion, only 14.6 million people had taxable income in the fiscal year 2018/2019. India’s taxable income is above the figure of US$6,750.

Only 4.6 million Indians earn more than one million Indian rupees, an amount that equals slightly less than US$13,500.

Urban India, known to the West as India, accounts for only about 35 percent of the country’s population. Sixty-five percent of India’s population lives in rural areas. Thus, the countryside of India is very different from what India looks like in the world.

Despite the economic reforms that began in July 1991, India only grew to join merely the $2.5 trillion economies in 2019. In the Lok Sabha election campaign 2019, the Modi government raised the slogan of creating a $5 trillion economy by 2024. But India’s ambition to become a $5 trillion economy is unlikely to be realized even by 2030.

Siri, define "clusterfuck".

Not only will the Taliban have access to 'liberated' US arms and Humvees but when they control the country, it will be US firms coming to beg for mineral and gas contracts.
The USA is lucky that so far no external party will supply the Taliban force with any Stinger or even better equivalent. Then the US aircraft will not operate as freely as it's now. The gov of Imran Khan is still closing eyes to allow the previous agreement to allow passage of the US aircraft over Pakistani airspace from Qatari airbase. I look forward such aircraft operation be curbed after US exit.

What happens to a country like lithuania? does that mean that they can't do business with China? If there wasn't much trade and given that Lithuania has been pretty sketchy lately, maybe it's time for the iron fist to come out; maybe help russians burn a few of their villages. (sarcasm, don't sue me)
No nothing like that. Only Ambassadors have been withdrawn, diplomatic ties haven't been cut off. This seems to be a warning shot from China that Lithuania needs to mend its ways. If they don't then Diplomatic ties will be cut off and Trade, business everything will cease.

I hope China goes a step further and imposes crippling sanctions on them. Force companies to choose between China and Lithuania. This way most international firms will quit the tiny country.

There needs to be a heavy cost for violating One China principle so that a message goes out to other prospective nations who're thinking of resorting to such theatrics.

Lithuania better hope they get a good deal out of this from the West or else they'll end up like Ukraine, used and abused.

Lithuania has a very advanced laser industry I think. Used in a lot of scientific instruments. China better starts investing in this specific industry.

Been combing YT for China related stuff. I came across this interesting video. Not sure where to put it. It's still fairly recent.

Kinda bizarre to have this two come together and have a sort of debate when it's clear that one is a highly intelligent economist with clearly reasoned arguments supported by facts and the other a clueless warmonger just regurgitating neocon propaganda.

I'm at halfway mark.
Just skip the Bolton parts it's mindlessly dumb. Varoufakis defended china and pointed out that China saved the world in 2008 during financial crisis. Good also to hear, about 1:00:00 mark Varoufakis brought up the plight of the aboriginals in Australia before and after colonialism. They may be poorer in terms of monetary terms before captain Cook came but they were happier.

And remarking on the incredible achievements of China to pull greatest amount of people out of poverty to greatest degree. And interesting he said if you take out china, the statistics on infant mortality and other indicators etc the global picture would not look good at all despite protestation from the host. Despite slight improvement in India Pakistan among others

Has there been any word about what tests we undertaken during the PLANs exercises for which they close off a large area near Hainan, there was some hints it would be more ballistic missile tests (similar to last year’s exercise) and perhaps a hypersonic test also?
