I found this info on a Hongkong website. Not a real one, just a model.

It's not just a model, it's a AEG (Automatic Electric Gun) which is used for Airsoft. In other words, it shoots out little BBs at full automatic, powered by an electric motor.

Sure is. In the US if you were walking around with this "toy" the police would probally arrest you or gun you down.
is it true that all toy guns in US must have a red tip? or else the police are allowed to shoot u for carrying a toy gun because it may put their own lives in danger?

It doesn't matter to much in the US. I think US require some toy guns to be painted bright orange. However criminals would just paint their real guns orange. Therefore it is not a good idea to carry anything that remotely resemble a real firearm in public.

Imagine this, you are a cop just notice someone 100 meters away might be carrying a fully or semi-automatic M16. With only a Glock and pepper spray on you, are you going to pull up next to him and check if his gun has a red tip?

All toy guns are legally required to have markings on them indicating such, however even if you have an orange tip on your gun it is VERY unwise to brandish it out in public. There are strict airsoft rules of conduct regarding gun transport and use - which includes where and when they can use them, generally on private land a certain distance away from bystanders.

China sells them all right. I know a market in Guangzhou that sells misc. items like this and I saw a stand where people were selling fake M-16s. (Scoped not railed, but not much people outside this forum or police world knows much about guns and definitely not in China.) There's got to be more markets like that. (And you can't miss that market, it's located in the most important road of the city.)
