Most of these girls have a more fundamental enemy to combat - excessive skinniness. I feel uncomfortable calling them "bags of bones" because that term sounds heavier than they are. I doubt that this is the result of involuntary malnutrition, more likely to be some combination of misguided vanity and a sickening neglect of physical exercise and health.
