It seems that no J-20A equipped with the WS-15 engine has been delivered to the troops so far. Does this mean that the J-20 or J-20A on display at this year's Zhuhai Airshow will still be equipped with the WS-10 engine?

We don't know if any J-20A with WS-15 are in service or not -- we know that J-20A with WS-15 has been in production since the beginning of the year at least, but we often have a time delay of months or sometimes years for deliveries of aircraft from the factory to units to be confirmed.

We do not know whether we will see J-20A with WS-15 this year at Zhuhai.

For all we know we might not see J-20A with WS-10 either. Or maybe they'll decide to be contrarian and showcase no 5th generation aircraft at all at Zhuhai this year (no J-20, no J-20A, no J-35 or J-35A etc)

How difficult is it to snatch tickets for the trade days? Planning to go on one of the dates but idk the flight schedule. Don't want to spend loads of money only to see nothing.

Anyone has any "insider" information about the date of the airshow? I've seen some conflicting information, some say it's been delayed to Dec due to APEC in Shenzhen. But the official website is still showing it will be held in Nov...

I must admit that's indeed strange ... officially it is still scheduled for the original date but via a good friend I heard the same albeit with no explanation. Behind closed doors, he remarked that there were rumours: “The show will be moved to December. And no foreign civilian aircraft will be allowed to take part. Something’s going on.”
