Trump’s $300 billion problem on the Iran agreement

Please, Log in or Register to view URLs content!

“Iran receives a windfall of $150 billion, which will no doubt fund terrorism around the world,” he wrote in a September 2015 op-ed in USA Today. Trump often cited the inflated figure of $150 billion.

This has not aged well.

Maybe they should just give them confiscated bitcoin rather than a cheque.

Old guards died in war?
But new guard won, and it's doubtful the lesson they learned is that they need to align "or else".
Old ayatollah was underestimating his own country, and he still was too careful to align.

New leaders now enjoy higher standing than even the standing Iran had during the Soleimani. Risk of hubris/arrogance is imho high.

Realistically Iran will now have more money, and if I were them - I'll try ordering J-10CEs ASAP. But this doesn't require much alignment.

This is not good. Clown AAA blood lusting warmonger Graham is never this pro negotiation. The US is using the time to replenish their stockpiles of weapons to attack Iran again.

Iran should take the time to plan for next two months, increase their missile stockpile and build more tunnels, they should also update their list of targets in the Middle East to do more damage.
