Are they blocking one’s from white people as well? Something like 95 percent of anti-Indian propaganda comes from US/Canada.
This was what I was referring about Singapore.

I've seen a lot of social media posts on weibo on this.

Its a very sensitive issue but its clear SG doesn't wanna handle this directly. They can ostrich it all they want and pretend is just da CCP astroturfing it but eventually things will go past the limit.

Singapore has before accommodated to groups in favor of non-mainland Chinese because they're more active especially because it's neighbors have histories of anti-Chinese pogroms. I heard that more and more Indians are living in Singapore. This is a result of saying nothing and doing nothing is what's best. Everyone knows the Chinese are going to do nothing. It's easy to choose who to favor even when it comes to other "Chinese".

I mean there is no wat to secure your system because if an intelligence agency wants your data they will get it but the point of securing your device is to make it not worth their time because it takes alot of time to break into somebody phone and that might not be worth the effort compared to people leaving their door unlocked.

But troops will be troops because people post shit online now a days include CAFSOFCOM operator posting shit on tik tok meaning them Chinese Spyware will get info from cool montages.
Actually, intrusive ad technology is so powerful and pervasive now, it is doing a lot of heavy lifting for law enforcement and intelligence agencies. They just buy the data from the ad companies, don’t even need a warrant.

I always thought the argument that “I’d rather have the Chinese government spy on me than my own” made sense.

Trump went back to blaming China for US farmer problems. I'm sure Trump was on the verge of offering something big to China but there was so much opposition from his own people that he couldn't. That's why Trump's trip to Beijing failed. Why go in the first place? These things are usually decided beforehand but Trump thinking he's the dealmaker had to go any way. Just like Europeans, Trump thought he could get something from China while they get nothing in return. They think they have that kind of magical leverage. It's a joke that the Europeans just lazily lump Trump in with China and Russia and Iran when they're in the same class of arrogance with Trump.

Europe's imbalance trade in China's favor is of their own making. Yeah there was a trade deficit before but it's just the final nail in the coffin that Europe followed the US on trade policy. China is the only country big enough that's still growing to buy their big bucks advanced technology. Because they followed US policies, now they lost all that money and the trade imbalance is even larger. But of course they think China is suppose to correct the mistake of their own making by buying what they're willing to sell but can get anywhere else. Now China is making competing advanced technology for what Europe use to have and is losing China more and more. The only thing Europe had was their advanced technology but now that's becoming more and more irrelevant even in non-Chinese markets. So who's the one that dug their own grave? And all they did was take the more antagonizing path with China instead of adjusting to the new reality. Yeah they're all worried about China denying them supply chains... like they were to doing to China before...

r/Singapore is heavily astroturfed by Indian mods, where even posts on a recent car accident that killed a child and injured the mother at a tourist spot, asking why the newspapers censored the Indian driver's name and nationality, were deleted while everyone is fine when crimes involving Chinese nationals have their name and origin included.

I even suspect those anti-chinese posts on the Reddit are by Indian bot farms, though I won't deny there is a certain portion that heavily insists we maintain our personal identity and hates on all foreigners regardless of nationality.

The government is trying to include the local Indian community (those in Singapore before independence) as being targeted by these posts, when it's clear that the posts are about those brought in during the late 90s to current day, especially those brought in by CECA, so that the locals will go along with the ban.

At least on the ground level, we definitely do not prostrate to the foreign Indians but the government has been trying very hard to stifle criticism regarding foreign labour.

BTW although Singapore is Chinese majority country, the ratio of Indians to Chinese significantly increases in politics and law (influence in the judiciary), far higher than even the native Malays, so there is definitely a special bias to them by the government that does not reflect the attitudes on the ground.
Indians often bring some of their customs to other parts of the world. For example, nepotism。if a company puts an Indian in charge of human resources, you'll find that the proportion of Indians in the company grows very rapidly. This can also happen in immigration control departments, and I think Singapore needs to be wary of this phenomenon.
