What if it's a UUV, carry a bunch of AQS003As in some special dispersal modules similar to VLS? Just downward not upward

It can also be an "anti-submarine specialized" submarine, just in a different way.

While it's possible that it is a UUV in theory, given the huge size of this vessel it would be the world's largest UUV by magnitudes, and thus somewhat lower on the list of possibilities imo.

The alternative explanation of it being a manned submarine with a small profile sail, imo is much more likely.
(Being a manned submarine can still allow it to have special dispersal modules btw)

A bit of an odd image.

The proportions don't look like a 10m x 120m submarine (even accounting for partial obscuration by the crane).
The proportions look slightly more 09V-ish than anything, though even then I'm not sure if it lines up perfectly.

It's also unclear if there is definitely a sail or no sail, and it's also unclear if it looks like there is a slight minor hump along the middle segment of the hull.

That would make it the world's largest UUV - And a nuclear-powered one at that.

I am extremely doubtful of the reasoning and sanity for the PLAN to go ahead with something like this right now.

Even when approximating the Bohai hull with 09V in terms of hull diameter, it doesn't work out... the 09V is still longer.

Honestly I'm at a loss -- this Bohai hull's proportions does not look like a 10m x 120m hull at all, but it also doesn't seem to be a 09V.

nah, the entire dock platform is visible, and can be matched to the size of it in older GE images. the platform fully covers the dock in both images. I've independently scaled the width and length of it, to be sure the angle doesn't distort it too much. And i've used an average value of multiple GE images for width/length reference.

What if it actually just is a super fat submarine like Oscar I/II class. Anyways it now seems Bohai hull is probably not the same as the JN one.
