Is it actually doable for Trump to give Takaichi a ‘detailed explanation’ and exchange views on China-Japan relations, hold talk on economic and security issues including economic security, all with simultaneous interpretation in a phone call lasting 15 mintes?

Also iirc the shortest default intervals in outlook is 15min. Cannot say how long did the call last imo.
So who is lying?

It was a wonderful meeting, very wonderful. Xi was a... very kind host. He took me around the... Forbidden City. You know they call it forbidden? Because only important people are allowed in.
