Iran could have just signed the surrender before getting bombed if they were going to agree to these things anyway.

Which is why 3 carrier strike groups are converging in the Arabian Sea right before the ceasefire ends. The US quietly renewing the lifting of Russian oil sanctions after Bessent said they wouldn’t 2 days ago. If oil is coming why was it lifted. And the dozens of tankers making a U-turn away from the Strait of Hormuz earlier in the day.

Does any of this sounds like there is a ceasefire coming?

The real question is why did the USS George Bush go around Africa while the USS Gerald Ford sailed through the Suez Canal.

The Ford, which until recently was operating in the Eastern Mediterranean, transited the Suez Canal, along with a pair of destroyers, the USS Mahan and the USS Winston S. Churchill, and is now operating in the Red Sea, one official says.

People are jumping to conclusions way too fast. Iran reopened the Strait, presumably under the arrangement that they would direct ship traffic and accept tolls, simply as a gentleman's agreement since Trump fulfilled his end of the ceasefire bargain by getting Israel to halt their bombing of Lebanon. The ceasefire expires next Wednesday and there's another round of negotiations, until we see what's on paper everything on social media is just a he said she said ordeal. Lets wait and see what happens.

Nope, just 2, and if you consider Mediterranean "Arabian Sea"

People really need to update their understanding of the reality of American military power: they don't have enough ships, they can't access bases, and neither are survivable,

The news report was a few hours ago. Your article was 4 days ago. Or are you saying the Mediterranean is south of the Suez Canal

1. Red Sea is right next to Mediterranean and neither are called Arabian Sea
2. There are still only 2 CSG in total, which if you remember was how many they had before the "laundry fire"

Its as true now as it was then that US simply dont have enough force nor are they survivible enough to do anything about Iran.

Also Im old enough to remember when 1000 guys from single MEU was going to invade Iran, or that they were going to steal the uranium, or they were going to take Kharg iskand.

Reality is US option space isnt constrained by their want, its by their lack of ability.
