Dang I used to really fear a second Trump term because US-China heated conflict, whether trade or geopolitics. Now, he is the greatest gift from the heavens, and the world order is in disarray. It's like holy shit it's only 1 year in dude, and there is 3 more years. Can you imagine what world be like in 3 years....we're just getting started.

The Americans bitching about ‘low quality’ Chinese products is far more egregious when you realise that the entire genesis of low quality goods made in China was entirely the result of western corporations.
Do you think any western company would have continued to source products from China if Chinese manufacturers couldn’t meet their production standards?
The low quality made in China products were of shit quality because that’s how western companies designed them and spec’d them. Partly to minimise costs, but also partly because western MBA air wasters decided that designed obsolescence was a great way to multiply demand by purposefully designing products to fail shortly after their warranties were up to force consumers to purchase replacements much sooner.
It wasn’t until Chinese domestic manufacturers were able to dominate the domestic market and start to dictate product quality standards that made in China started to become what it is today, high quality at affordable prices.
