relatives of Soleimani in Iran are denying that they had any one of them living in the US.

"Soleimani's relatives" and Larijani's daughter... Has Washington started targeting Iranians abroad?

But after the US State Department's statement, Zeinab Soleimani, the daughter of the Iranian commander, refuted the American narrative, saying, "The individuals detained in America have no connection whatsoever to Martyr Soleimani, and the US State Department's claim is false."

According to a post carried by the Iranian news agency Tasnim, she added, "They have reached such a level of depravity and impotence that they are attempting, through fabricating lies against a great figure like Hajj Qassem—whose very name they tremble at—to divert global public opinion from their defeat at the hands of the Iranian people."

Narges Soleimani, Zeinab's sister and Qassem Soleimani's daughter, also wrote, "The claim that this poor woman is related to Martyr Soleimani is unbelievable and doesn't even warrant a response. To this day, none of Martyr Soleimani's family members or relatives have resided in America."

But past incidents last year indicate that deportations were not limited to individuals affiliated with the Iranian regime, but also included dissidents. According to the Iranian Foreign Ministry, the United States deported 175 Iranians to Tehran last year.

The deportations took place in two waves, in December and September 2025. Some of those deported told CNN that returning to Iran would endanger their lives because of their opposition to the regime.

On June 28, US federal sources told Fox News that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers detained 130 Iranian nationals in various parts of the country in a single week, bringing the total number of Iranians in ICE detention facilities at that time to 670.

Does that mean Reza Pahlavi and his supporters on the streets of the West all get to go to Iran to start the revolution that they were all cheering for?
