Oil Prices Are Transitory.

————-

What does this get the US? An endless conga line of aircraft sent in to rescue pilots from the previous batch that was shot down?

Only if they proceed with the Isfahan Runway Operation. Trump told people to watch Mark Levin a couple days ago and in that podcast the host was building the case to send ground troops to secure nuclear material. I wonder if the incident today will put the nuclear materials operation on hold but the remaining options for a “quick end” are getting worst by the day. They might still risk it anyway.

Iranian government is putting out a bounty for the pilot to be captured alive.
If he's taken I'm guessing they're going to parade him through the street and hold him hostage 1979 style?
Conversely, Iran could capture him and pretend he's still missing to lure in more of these rescue missions to deal additional losses to and captures of more Americans.

Iran still has flying jets? damn.
Considering the variety of (ancient) aircraft Iran has and the fact we have seen just a few strikes in what seems either mostly retired aircraft or decoys, it is safe to say they must still have some left, particularly in those cave airbases.

It is safe to assume they are aware of the disparity in air power and at the start of the conflict is just a waste of aircraft and pilots to launch them but might still be useful when the US and Israel attrition starts to bite or to go against oportunity targets such as these CSAR teams.

She is asking the Kohgiluyeh-Boyer Ahmad Province tribals to search for the American F-15 pilots.

Hebrew tv: Israeli airforce joining to look for the pilots.
Also Also

Since the beginning of the war with Iran, 80,350 Israelis have left the country compared to 10,420 who returned.
This is according to data from the Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS).
More than half a million fled during the Gaza Genocide. I guess they mostly did not return.

They're not trying to kill the pilots to prevent them from been taken alive are they?
More likely, the A-10 is there to kill Iranis attempting to capture the pilot(s).

I'm sure they would if they could, the area is vast and I suspect Iranians may not have the means to rapidly transport their troops arround besides ground vehicle. I won't be surprised if the locals got to the pilots first
..which is strange and negligent (if true) since this is where most of Irani oil is. You'd expect more military presence around this area.

Hmmmm
> Iran managed to destroy one of US E-3G AWACS last week
> A Wing Loong UCAV was shot down by a 9 Dey SAM, which is a part of the Sevom Khordad Medium to Long Rang SAM system
> On the next day, an F-15 is shot down. Possibly due to same SAM system.

From what I can see is that the loss of USAF AWACS signalized Iran in more starting to utilized more of their medium to long range SAMs instead of heavily using Majid and 358 loitering munition which have shorter range.

This is very make sense since the more longer and robust SAMs, mobile or not, have a lot of radar juice that can be easily read and painted by the US AWACS instead of the shorter ones which tend to have readings that are largely overlook or not that much of a threat.

I can be wrong but this is certainly a stepping stone for possible Iranian counter attack through complete area denial in the long run.
