Guys, I read there's back channel discussion about US pulling out from the middle east for the war to stop? How true is that. Means, US giving up Iraq bases, GCC bases and left only on Israel. The war will then stop

If US wants to stop Iran's oil leaving the strait, they could blockade the strait themselves and getting the same effect as taking Kharg Island without boots on the ground. They are going in there because US admin has no other alternatives. I don't see a win condition for US.
Usually I take whatever reported by the "western" media with a grain of salt. No injury bullshit. Is this the recent attack? I think it's a proper military strategy, like how the Iranian launchers are targeted, in reverse the refueler tanker planes are target.....it's a supply chain logistical battle plan. Who's advising the Iranians? Or it's their own war plan?

-Rumors says that one of the Carriers got hit pretty bad.
-A fire in other Carrier, rumors says was the crew, indicating low moral
-7 Tankers hit that adds to the logistical problems
-Expensive long endurance drones who are the risk free assets with high resolution sensing getting shot
-Very degraded missile defenses and basically fighting blind.
- Iranian air defenses it seems that are faring better than expected.
-Wasting munitions carpet bombing 1.6 million km2 because they can´t find targets. US stockpiles cannot get below certain threshold
The logistical problems just keep pilling up, Pete seems that doesn´t know what he doing and Trump is scarily not a in a good mental state and a lot of people are scared that he could make a very very bad irrational decision.

There are certain channels on Youtube that I go to view to find news about this war. However, I do not post those videos here, because all these ex-US-military guys only relying information from the inside, which means we cannot substantiate it.
However, what they say, usually is the truth. But that is how it goes, if they only got a source in the inside, that probably is not enough evidence for this thread or the previous thread.
We collect the stories, sort them out in our own head, then come to conclusions as best we can.
What this guy, Professor Ted Postol said was interesting.
IIRC, he was the man who said that missile defense does not work, because the actual interception rates according to his research was really low, forget, but I think it was around 10%-15% for those Patriots. That is why it is rare that we hear from the guy anymore.
It is a long video with a lot of analysis. The previous thread there was just too much stuff to read. So I doubt anyone would watch such long ass videos.
Frankly speaking, I do not even think this video would conform to all the rules of this new thread.

The Americans are now in the same situation as the Russians were in 2022. They planned a short sharp war and it didn't work. The Russians thought that they would be greeted as liberators in Ukraine and the Americans thought they only had to kill the Iranian leader and bomb a few security force offices and the people would rise up in the millions to overthrow the regime. Neither of the two happened. Now they are faced with a polonged conflict they didn't prepare for and they haven't found their footing yet. To make matters worst the Iranians have closed down the Straights of Hormuz where 20% of the worlds oil flows. This will cause a massive global economic crisis if not resolved soon.
