3rd Temple politics is the evidence. The non-Zionist Jews believe you cannot enter the holy lands before the Moschiach arrives - Zionist Jews believe the opposite. Interestingly, both the Torah and the Talmud prohibits the construction of the Temple using iron tools (no iron hammers, nails, screws, bolts, machinery, etc). The previous temples were constructed using a legendary item called the Shamir which disappeared forever. So, you can see that the Zionists, even the religious ones, don't really care about the mandatory religious requirements. The aim is obviously something else.

Offcourse as our esteemed colleague would say, there is very obvious "C word" in the headline, but there are further juicy bits as well,

The assumption was that everybody would behave rationally and not target oil production and transportation infrastructure, as it is in nobody's interest to halt the flow of crude and products.

But it turns out if you tell a dictatorial religious government that your aim is regime change, then that government feels little compunction to play by the prior rules.

Iran's decision to target its Gulf neighbours that host U.S. military bases has upended all previous calculations about the conflict.

All the onus is on Iran, I mean they were so irrational, they should have taken for the team world (rules based world order), should also have rolled over play the dead.

Answer for your first question is offcourse Barron would be Grandpa Trump, that also narrow down maternal grandson (spawn of Ivanka and the ring wraith Kushner)

Offcourse idea for this novel was concieved when nobody ever thought that Islam would have to fram as big bad wolf, so most of Fremen terminology is taken from Arab culture and Islam and few from Judaism as well.

Which, as the false Messiah will be worshipped in the third temple. That jewish eshtalogy says that their Messiah will come with the third temple (and them having rejected the true Messiah before and after being raised from the dead), well you can imagine what I and others think about this. Ultimately, any Christian who is a Zionist or supportive of this is a strange case, because Zionist and jewish views are inherently incompatible with Christian views. There are more similarities between Christianity and Islam than between Judaism and any other religion.

Also Zionism is not completely detached from religion/judaism. It is a secular interpretation of judaism, as a substitute for regular ethno-nationalisn but it ultimately has it's entire foundation in the torah, tanakh and obviously the less than well looked upon talmud.

I was waiting for someone who actually knew, to enter the fray.

To cap it off quickly, perhaps a crude oversimplification — Christians and Muslims are both waiting for the return of Christ as part of their end times prophecies.

They’re meant to team up against Israel and against the purported messiah (the anti-Christ). And before that the Muslims are united by mercurial and messiah like figure, but who is definitely just a regular human (called the Mahdi, which is also one of Paul Atreides other fremen names).

I suppose after that they can just ask Jesus whose religion is the correct one.
