Iranian president's apology sounds more like a threat. "We're sorry about the attacks, we won't do it again...as long as you stop letting the enemies use you to attack us."

Wasn't it an apology directed at Azerbaijan and Turkey? For a couple of drone incidents, perhaps stemming from a very decentralized command and restless hands in the north?

I certainly haven't seen them lift the naval blockade towards the Gulf countries hosting US military infrastructure used in the war (all of them).

To a degree, yes, but this is a classic campaign, drone part more reserved and done by MALEs.

Attrition for those are way too high. Even if they used jet propelled HALE drones they can stay out of the reach of effective Iranian anti-air, which has been reduced to mobile IR based platforms.
