Will probably found himself in the middle of a witch hunt soon enough... Voice against anything that US government or Israel government do is a cancel wish.
Even in Canada the government start to drift into supporting the war into Iran, just to please the US so the war dont transform into war in Canada.
Ottawa have very little room to maneuver. The Canadian economy is still heavily dependent (i.e. over 50%) on the US. Eventually Carney will buckle as he's not as strong of a leader unlike Chrétien or Pierre Trudeau.
Canadians quit and left the NATO-led operations in Afghanistan—which, mind you, started with far more favorable views and support from Canucks as the good neighbor to the U.S. and all.
Now? When Canada is being threatened with annexation as the next U.S. state, economically hemorrhaged by the Americans under Trump due to insane tariffs, and facing the intention of owning a bridge that Canadians built and paid for connecting Canada to Michigan—the idea that Carney is going nuts for participating in a conflict he himself recently described as against "international law" flies in the face of all rationality when we're talking about sending boots on the ground in Iran!
Don't forget clandestine support of separatists in Alberta and Quebec. For many years, the US have been smuggling small arms into Canada. Recently there were arrests in Quebec against four people amassing weapons and explosives to kick off an armed rebellion. The leader (Jeffery Rath) of the Albertan separatists have been openly courting the US for aid. I wouldn't be surprised if we hear similar news of the one from Quebec.
