The damage has been done; several radars have been destroyed, and oil and gas production and transportation in the Strait of Hormuz have been significantly reduced.

What Iran needs to do now is preserve its strength, maintain its deterrent, and wait for an opportune moment to hit high value target, rather than wasting it on assets that the US and Israel don't care about at all.

This reminds me of the sat images Pakistan used... literally one for one of the images used, also obviously if the PLA is giving this intel they are giving them low quality photos, but almost real-time it seems. Can someone pull up the sat images Pakistan used and compare them to Iranian ones?

Almost certainly imagery from China. Could be commercial grade, not military grade.

Phone call between the Foreign Ministers of Iran and Russia

It could very well be any commercial chinese SAT company. Even the Houthis used chinese SAT.
Either way I don't think any military SAT imagery would be released to the public

What this tells me is that there's a lot of chaos and little communication happening between the US and their Arab vassals.

The Iranians happened to launch several small optical satellites earlier this year, which were not very accurate (range 5-15m), so they were probably using commercial satellites for more precise missions. However, this is sufficient for some rough assessment

So, Iran is bearing witness to who its allies (and enemies) truly are, after all these decades.

I think the US will attempt to truly end Iran this time, because doing otherwise after having multiple mask off moments would make future negotiations worthless. If the present Iranian leadership survives, they won't forget the US's deception and its attacking during negotiations. So they will race for the bomb and Russian/Chinese weapons and the controlled opposition the US has in the country will be gradually rooted out and purged.

Hence, it really is an all-in moment for the US, so I'm not surprised to see talks of ground troops. The question is, though, can Trump really afford to take the hit for the mid-terms when the optics, which are already against the US (dishonorable conduct, etc.), will surely get worse the longer the war drags on? Or will the Republicans use it as an opportunity to maybe cancel elections?

How? At this point in 1991, US had already destroyed 1000s of Iraqi tanks and artillery pieces.

Sending ground troops into mountains against tanks, artillery, mines and MANPADs is suicidal.
