A C-40C has landed at Beijing Capital International Airport earlier today after departing from Washington DC and stopping over at Anchorage and Tokyo. Possible US government delegations meeting with Chinese government officials to make arrangements in preparation for Donroe's potential visit later this month/early April?

Seems plausible. We already know there are minister-level talks scheduled soon, for example.

US and Chinese trade negotiators are slated to meet in mid-March, according to people familiar with the matter, signaling a planned summit between Donald Trump and Xi Jinping is pushing ahead despite American strikes against Iran. US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer and China’s Vice Premier He Lifeng are expected to convene in Paris at the end of next week to discuss business deals that could stem from the leaders’ meeting, said the people who requested anonymity to discuss plans that aren’t yet public. Both the timing and location of the meeting could still shift, the people added.

This is why people who freakout when the Dutch/Panama act stupidly against China need to take a chill pill. China needs not to loudly announce its wins because it actually is winning.

I saw something on TikTok, from an account who usually is on top of things, but I could not verify it myself.

The alleged story was that since the Panamanian was doing what it was doing by handing over the port operations to Maersk, well, you know, you know how us Chinese are.

We are not going take this bullshit, if we can help it.

So the story was that the Chinese staff, knowing they will be evicted soon, locked up all the software to run the port. Therefore, no one can run the port now, haha!

I do not know if this is true, as I not could find information other than that TikTok post.

I would love for this to be true. Hopefully, evidence either proving or disproving this rumor can turn up soon.
