Why everyone think that the USA and Trump CARE about the whole mess?
the USA is self reliant on oil and gas, all wirchaft is 10 000 km away from shores.

The USA military already started to withdraw the military from the area.

The US Treasury secretary told a room of European counterparts that “the dollar is our currency, but it is your problem”

The new quote is "this war started by Trump, but it is not the problem of the U.S.A. "

What is the worst that can happens for the USA?
Extreme high energy prices fueling the income of the LNG and oil exporters ?

What is the worst that can happens for the USA?
The best-worst most worst outcome for USA.

US/israel dont achieve their objectives with Iran, The gulf state uprising start or to placate threat from Iran, Gulf states agree to kick americans out from their lands, Slowly they move away from the petrodollar, not leave it entirely but diversify to reduce reliance,
Dollar values goes down further, bond market interests rates rise more n more and it gets harder for the US to rely on the debt because by this point the interests payments are more than the annual defense budget, it will get harder.
More n more countries slowly dump the US bond and diversify further killing USD worth, locking us into a debt spiral.

While US has its own supply of oil n lng, it lets the companies/international market decide the rates, so as global costs go up, the costs go up for americans too. US population is very sensitive to this because its the most car dependent and badly planned '1st' world country on the planet, where people have to drive 50 km to go to the nearest grocery mall.

There are prob more angles to this but I am too hungry to think harder right now.

According to News from Bahrain, one the drones that struck the hotels (you might remember with huge explosion on the upper floors) hit the floors housing US personal, 2 floors were booked and since the explosion and rubble there have been 40 casualties (not deaths)

RUBIO: "OURS WAS A PREVENTIVE ATTACK"

REPORTER: "BUT THE PENTAGON SAYS THAT IRAN WOULDN'T HAVE ATTACKED FIRST"

RUBIO: "WE KNEW THAT ISRAEL WOULD HAVE ATTACKED IRAN AND AT THAT POINT IRAN WOULD HAVE RESPONDED BY ATTACKING ISRAEL AND THE UNITED STATES. THEREFORE, WE ATTACKED THEM FIRST BECAUSE ISRAEL WOULD HAVE ATTACKED IN ANY CASE."

(also sorry for the caplocks lol, they were like that on the original news)

Looking at that letter from CENTCOM, i don’t think we should discount the role of evangelical “Christian taliban” of the dubya era in the military and political establishment. The language suggests some in the U.S. view this conflict as a holy war, no different to Shia Iranians right now.
Could you post link to that letter

USA runs trillion $ trade deficit and is reliant on petro dollar to do so, because other than fraking gas US produces few of anything. A US thats self reliant on energy means nothing if they cant afford to import anything else, and their ability to afford everything else is dependant on Arab countries exporting energy in USD plus China accepting USD.

US energy production also isnt that much higher than Russia, subtract their domestic demand and the amount they can export in a self reliant situation is much smaller than Russia. You're not going to prop up a petro dollar just by exporting a small fraction of Russia's amount
