According to channel 12, they are still discussing their options but seriously discussing them, US has also asked allies if they will support the action (sending troops) after iran has been beaten down over the weeks. As you saw Israel doesnt want to stop,' they waited 47 years'.
The staff of the defense minister said US could condition support with zero or low tariffs.

I think they asked UK too and this is why starmer is saying the following
Wait, for what, tariff?

Looking ahead, the key question is whether Iran can sustain its long-range strike capabilities while maintaining domestic stability. Iran's vulnerability lies in the risk that the U.S. and Israel could launch airstrikes to destroy its energy infrastructure and industrial facilities—a significant challenge for enduring a protracted conflict.
Considering a lot of that production seems to be in the same hardened underground facilities where they launch them from and the high probability of them having their own independent power supply, Id Say there is a bigger chance the west runs out of interceptors first.

This also means you need less misiles and drones to hit the same targets. It has the potential to be a self sustaining loop of sorts, specially with the current rare earths crisis the west faces

Wait, for what, tariff?
As in if they support US then Trump would give them 0 trade tariffs in return.
Insane i know

is ready to sacrifice their soldiers
Maybe thats why Both Trump very unlike him said there will be casualties and same was said by chief of staff, all they need is another 9/11 type reason. Listen to the type of shit Hegseth is saying

We are not defenders anymore; we are warriors, trained to kill the enemy and break their will.
IRGC Advisor Brigadier General Sardar Ebrahim Jabbari On TV:
Strait of Hormuz is closed. Anyone who wants to pass, our self-sacrificing heroes in the IRGC Navy and the Army will set those ships on fire. Don't come to this region.
The price of oil has reached 82 dollars and surely the world is waiting for it to reach at least 200 dollars.
We will also hit their pipelines in the region and we will not allow oil to be exported from this region so that they are in a tight spot.

The United States and Israel would never launch a ground operation in Iran—it would be tantamount to suicide. The reason we consistently assert that America won't wage a ground war isn't due to a lack of courage, but because any U.S. ground campaign in Iran would inevitably result in a humiliating defeat.

For better and worse, the US is currently led by "leaders" making decisions on the basis of vibes instead of what's factual, let alone what's rational.

These American leaders — be it Trump or the majority of his principal deputies like Rubio and Hegseth — are subject to incentives that for all practical purposes prioritize Israel's security over America's national interests.

If a ground war in Iran materializes, it'll most likely start with SOF missions inside Iran promised to be "limited" in scope, only to expand into another full blown shitshow in the sandbox.

Considering America's weakened domestic economy, dwindling political support, and the threat posed by China, launching a ground invasion becomes even more unthinkable.

I can pretty much guarantee you that more than one or two AIPAC megadonors are pitching a ground offensive into Iran to Trump and some of his more amoral — rather than merely simple minded — minions as a fantastic, if not the optimal, stimulus package for the US economy.
