People are still not used to it I guess.

However if you work in the government or hell just take a higher up position in a big company where politics are involved, you will learn quickly you have to say stuff the standard protocol way. At the very least its done to cover your ass so what you say cannot be used against you. I hated it and was never really good at it but I do understand why its done.

One of the reason Trump makes the establishment pissed off all the time is because he runs his mouth and as an outsider doesn't know you have to say thing the standard protocol way. Try to recall how Biden talks. Its exactly standard protocol stuff word for word.

It just confirms those Twitter diplomacy is from Trump. Because his brain and his experience/intellectual is not for those kind of standard protocol. Besides standard protocol is for losers, Trump the Victory is above those bullshit.

There is the probability that without a resolution the Iranians are going to plummet Israel for months, US stocktiple are dwindling faster than Iranian missile are who their good stuff is probably still underground, at some point they are only going to use drones and let the missile to target high value targets. Their best air defense is that their territory is 1.6 million km2 of highly mountainous territory. The Navy is pretty much intact who consist in fast boats with anti-ship missile on them.

Keep in mind that WWII bombs were unguided though. You need a lot less to achieve the same effects today.

Partially true, if you want to kill a radar, airplane or command post a tomwhawk could replace 50-60 tons of bombs.

But if you want to disable a 100 000 sqm industrial plant then carpet bombing required, with few hundred bombs.

If your goal is to bomb a few specific buildings, yes, guided bombs will be more accurate. But that also means millions of Iranian buildings will be intact. Not really a proper destruction. Moreover, Usually factories are massive structures that require hundreds of bombs to fully destroy.

Yes, you can mission kill a factory with one shot but they can repair it quickly after the war.

That is the problem with modern precision guided munitions. Their effects are temporary. You still need numbers when fighting a total war.

Dumb Q but why is there such insane focus on Iranian TELs when they also can shoot from hardened missile silos and other ways. Have I missed something about these?

All this talk about selling weapons to Taiwan and poke Chyna, I think they should start to tone down the rhetoric.
